Martin is a writer with Axco, covering Asian and African insurance markets. Martin's insurance background has been predominantly as client director at WTW, looking after corporate and commercial business in the UK, including setting up and running international programmes for property, casualty and cargo. Martin also worked on international reinsurance for Sompo in London. Later, he was seconded for a year to MSI in Tokyo to work on international business, and was lucky enough to represent MSI at both rugby and rowing.

Martin holds a masters from Cambridge in East Asian languages and is ACII qualified. He is married with three grown up children.
